If you do not have an actual MIDI keyboard, and you would like to have pitch bends in your song every time it plays, you can follow the same process as above, except for now you will be using an automation clip instead of a keyboard.Ĭreate an automation clip and name it "'s pitch bend." You can place this automation clip in the playlist. You can use this for live recordings or just to mess around with the sound while jamming. This will automatically assign the physical component to its virtual counterpart. A window will display and you should be able to just move the object on the keyboard that you would like to link to the virtual component. You can do this by right clicking on the virtual knob and clicking on "Link to Controller". If you have a midi keyboard with pitch wheels, you are able to assign the virtual pitch knob to your physical pitch wheel on the keyboard.
